Implementation of the 8.33 kHz Voice Channel Spacing Below FL 195

Estonian Civil Aviation Administration kindly reminds that from 1st January 2020 within the Tallinn FIR it is prohibited to operate an aircraft under IFR unless the aircraft radio equipment has the 8.33 kHz channel spacing capability. Non-8,33 kHz VFR flights are prohibited in airspace classes C and D as well as in RMZ-s. Also, please note that most of the frequency assignments used in Estonia will be converted to 8.33 kHz channel spacing on 2nd January 2020. Please take notice of Aeronautical Information Circular and AIRAC AIP AMDT(effective date 02 JAN 2020) for further information.
