Changes in EANS Supervisory Board
The general meeting of shareholders of EANS recalled Kaupo Raag as an active member of the Supervisory Board, and elected Sven Kirsipuu, Undersecretary of Budget Policy of the Ministry of Finance, as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Sven Kirsipuu was approved as a new member of the Supervisory Board for a term of three years by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure, Taavi Aas.
Priit Põldoja, Chairman of the Supervisory Board said: “We are pleased to welcome Sven to our team. He is a well know expert in his field and brings invaluable experience on financial planning and budgeting to the team. Aviation is going through turbulent times and our goal as a supervisory board is to help EANS’ management to make the company profitable again and to ensure the continuity of usual economic activities.”
“I am looking forward to digging into the specifics of aviation industry. My goal is to make myself familiar with the specifics as quickly as possible as the current economic environment is not supportive, and this also makes budgetary choices difficult. Hopefully, I will be able to use my previous experience in the councils of various companies for the benefit of EANS and contribute to the development of the company in the long run,” said Sven Kirsipuu.
